response

This movie is true to Shelly's vision in some ways- and not in others. F or example the personality of Waldman is the same as in the book, in the beginning of the movie, but the personality of cathrine is not. In the movie Cathrine is much more demanding than in the book. There are also some discrepancies in the movie as to how things happen, deaths of charecters for example. In the movie Henry Clerval lives through the whole thing, but in the book he dies. there are also other thing they added to the movie that never happened, like professer waldmans involvement in the experiments, and the reanimation of catherine. I think however dispite the discrepancies it does capture the mood and tone , and the plot.
